Table pinspotting is a technique used at top end restaurants to make tableware sparkle and create a sophisticated look.

Pinspots work by aiming narrow beams of white light at each table, highlighting the middle of the table and reflecting light onto the guests around the table. The effect transforms dining into something special by:

•Creating an intimate atmosphere around each table
•Making glassware and crystal sparkle
•Highlighting centrepieces, making them glow
•Reducing or removing the need for harsh overhead lighting
